After what seemed like the longest and worst winter in the history of all winters, I am happy to report Chicago is finally getting some spring weather. And with warmer weather comes my favorite part of the year – spring fashion! If you know me, you know that athleisure is my go-to fashion look. I rarely dress up (unless I have to) and leggings are a staple in my everyday outfits. I think there is a big misconception that athleisure means that you don’t look put together, and that couldn’t be further from the truth. I love mixing up my looks for spring by adding fun layers, accessories, leather jackets, and denim. Here are 3 outfit ideas ways to rock athleisure this spring:
Outfit Idea #1
I paired plain black leggings with an Adidas white t-shirt, a long gray sweater, a fringe bag, and white sneakers to complete the look. I tied the t-shirt in a knot at the back to create a crop top effect. Regular t-shirts are usually too baggy for me, and I like to tie them so that they are more form fitting and flattering for my figure. Fashionable sunglasses are also a great accessory to add for a hint of glam!
Outfit Idea #2
I wore a blue crop top (always representing CorePower Yoga!) with black leggings, nude sneakers and a vegan leather jacket for a more put-together look. If you find that you want to add a pop to your athleisure outfit, a vegan leather jacket is always a great option! I really like the sophistication of the black on black with a hint of color to make it more fun for spring.
Outfit Idea #3
I paired a black Adidas crop top with motto leggings, comfy black sneakers and tied a denim jacket around my waist for a 90s vibe look! I am a huge jeans jacket fan and was really happy how well this outfit looked together. It would be perfect for running errands, or even going to and from the studio!
